From Powerlessness to action art
Since 2019, Radikale Töchter has been inspiring young people and young adults to engage in political participation through playful, hands-on methods.
In their workshops, Radikale Töchter introduces approaches to action art and creative activism, rooted in the core values of democratic society, tackling the challenges and crises of our time. Broader questions of political education—such as what politics is, how democracy works, why it matters, and what it has to do with each of us—are explored through dialogue. Everything is connected to participants’ real-world experiences and interests, with no drawn-out lectures or rigid seminars.
Radikale Töchter works with schools, training programs, youth centers, cultural institutions, political initiatives, and companies—primarily across Germany. Their methods creatively combine elements from art and systemic coaching, while also drawing on tried-and-tested tools from management and marketing. Their approach is interdisciplinary, interactive, engaging, and never without a sense of humor.
The result? A new sound with its own rhythm: political education for youth that inspires the courage to start—and the persistence to keep going.
